One of the genius properties of linen is to regulate your body temperature during sleep. It cools when you feel warm and warms when you are feeling cold. On top of that linen is moisture absorbent and is actually able to absorb up to 20% of its own weight.
These properties help ensure optimal comfort during sleep and actually make our bedding ideal for babies, who have a harder time regulating their body temperature than adults.
The Sorona fibers add lots of benefits too. They are made of 100% bio based raw materials and first of all add softness to the linen in a way you haven’t experienced linen before - and it actually only gets softer the more you wash it! What’s more, they make the fabric resistant to creases, so need to iron after washing. The fabric is lightweight, breathable and resistant to UV and chlorine too.
And of course linen is one of the most sustainable choices in textile production. It is biodegradeable and it doesn’t need artificial fertiliser, no irrigation, and no pesticides.
