Lip gel Primavera

The Lip Acute Gel was specially developed for the care of irritated lips and corners of the mouth. It forms a cooling and protective film on delicate lip skin, regenerating the skin and relieving feelings of tightness, tingling, or itching. Soothing lemon balm water is at the heart of this lip care product. Combined with protective licorice root extract, pleasantly cooling spearmint essential oil, and strengthening cistus oil, damaged lip skin is intensively cared for and soothed.

Lips are often considered a symbol of sensuality. This has many reasons, including the fact that, as organs of touch, they are particularly sensitive and feel pleasantly soft. Lips consist of three to five cell layers, while facial skin, in comparison, has 16 layers. Furthermore, lips have neither sweat nor sebaceous glands, nor a protective layer of hair. Lips can therefore be truly sensitive, especially when sun, wind, and weather challenge delicate lip skin. Painful lip irritations can also occur when a busy and stressful period at work causes a certain amount of stress, or a cold weakens the immune system. The delicate skin of the lips needs effective care, protection, and rapid relief, especially during the development and healing of cold sores and sore corners of the mouth.

Application
For acute and emerging irritations, apply directly to the outer lip area. Can be used several times a day as needed. For hygienic removal, we recommend applying the gel to a cotton swab and then dabbing it onto the lips.

Active Ingredients
ORGANIC LICORICE ROOT EXTRACT – Has a protective and regenerative effect. The active ingredients of licorice root include triterpene saponins, the main component of which is glycyrrhizic acid.
ORGANIC ALOE VERA – Has cooling, soothing, and anti-itch properties and provides particularly high levels of moisture to stressed skin.
ZINC PCA – Many skin enzymes depend on zinc as a key element. It is not the element zinc that is active, but rather zinc ions, which are found in zinc salts and compounds. Zinc PCA acts as an antioxidant, protecting against collagen degradation caused by UV rays and providing moisture.
SORBITOL – Obtained from the fruits of the mountain ash (rowanberry). On the skin, sorbitol is able to retain water molecules on the surface and acts as a humectant.
